Rutherford Duquesne is one of the wealthiest and most powerful men on the planet. But even he cannot buy his way out of mortality. Pierre, his only son and heir, stands by his father's hospital bed deeply regretting the bitter argument they had the last and final time they were together.
When Pierre withdraws, the dying billionaire is visited by Rick, a doppelganger of his own creation that taunts him about the errors he made in relationships throughout his life.
With emotionally no way to hide from the whimsical Rick, Rutherford is forced to confront the fact that his fatherly indifference was most likely responsible for the horrific and fatal accident committed by Pierre.
